Yeah, the really telling detail in the CBR article is the heavy amount of FF related Omnibuses of old material being released (or re-released as the case may be) in May.

That having been said, if a new Fantastic Four launch is coming within the next 3-4 months, Marvel needs to give this title a real "fresh start" (to quote the tag line from their marketing campaign) by picking a new first rate creative team to what was once rightfully called "the World's Greatest Comic Magazine".

If Zdarsky is given the new Fantastic Four relaunch to keep going as has over the last couple issues of MTIO, there's very little chance it'll succeed long term.

Whom would you like to see take over the creative reigns of a new FF book from Marvel's creative stable of talent? I am liking Zdarskey and Cheung much more than you and would give the book a chance if they took over. I do agree with you on a couple points. Primarily Doom kissing faculty butt in the flash back and I am not a fan of this separation thing affecting their powers, but, after decades of continuity and a definite shift from 60's-80's story telling to the present we are never going to get a perfect representation of the Four. Or any other Marvel character.
