Dan freaking Slott. They keep saying they are going to shift creative teams around. He must have a record of some sort with his time on Spider-Man. ENOUGH I say!
Or get Alan Davis to write it. He got the FF so well in The End that you wished that book was 'The Beginning' I keep the trade on my desk and whenever I feel down it brings me right back to a happy place.
Is Sacasa still working with Marvel? The alternate FF book he did wasn't the best but he was pretty mandated by editorial into that book. His latter FF work was pretty good (and he knows a thing or two about Lyja!)
Loved Slott's 8 issue Thing series. I keep hearing many fans are not happy with a lot of the stuff he's done on Spider-Man. Too innovative and progressive and away from what made Parker/Spider-Man great. So, Slott on FF could go either way in the collective fan base eyes. Anywhere from Byrne to De Falco. And looking back we may all have been a bit too hard on Tom!
