As you point out this isn't CBR, and the forum structure is completely different as is the participation levels. One of the great things about this forum was the freedom for individuals to post their own threads that contained their ideas and observations. Taking away that freedom specifically for new issues of the FF after a long hiatus - and imposing a time restriction too - just doesn't appeal to me. I may be in the minority here, and that's OK.

And you still have that freedom to post on topics, providing it follows Alvaro's rules and stays on topic of the Fantastic Four and it's familiy of characters. There's always been threads merged here even going back to when Sean Kleefeld (who handed thing off to me) was the forum moderator. Probably the Torch too.

So I think I will no longer participate in the review threads, as I really don't like that structure being imposed on such a small forum. However, I do want to say thanks for reminding me about the CBR forum. I took a quick look and it looks like some interesting and diverse conversation going on over there these days.

I've always maintained a presence at both. My second "home" is the Doom Appreciation thread over there along with the Community Forums. That is an example of discussing the issue but in a more focused manner. We Doom fans always discuss his latest appearance in other titles over there.

And there is still just one review thread over there.
