> Further, at least five years of comic book time has passed since Barry "died." He's going to have to relearn everything. I hope Johns acknowledges that. I don't buy the, "he's the Flash, so he can learn faster" nonsense. Just because he can read faster and maybe think faster, doesn't mean that his mind stores concepts any better.

How about because he is simply a smarter man than Wally? He is a scientist, after all.
Barry taught Wally just about everything he knew and although Wally had some new tricks up his sleeve due to his dealings with the speed force, it doesn't indicate a superior mastery over what Barry could accomplish.
Barry Allen has complete control over every molecule in his body, allowing him the ability of super-speed transmutation. The original Mirror Master once turned him into a nearly 2-dimensional mirror constuct, which Barry was able to get out of by changing the consistancy of his own body...he melted himself... and then reconstituted back into human form. He used this ability on more than one occasion like when he was turned into pure electricity and into a video game character. I don't think we'll see Barry struggling to learn. Also, as a scientist, I'm sure that he could very quickly pick up on any other super-speed applications that Wally has adopted.
