I read your review and generally agree. I look forward to this series. The deal with Barry Allen always being late is a nod to the silver age books. At least that is how I took it. Back in the day it was a recurring gag that "The Fastest Man Alive" was always late. Otherwise I just love having Barry Allen back and reunited with Iris West.

One gripe might be Geoff Johns. I like his dialogue and characterization but I never seem to understand what is happening in his stories...even when they are not cosmic and do not involve time travel. I really don't understand what happened in Rebirth or Darkest Night. I hope the Flash's adventures can be simple for a little while now.
