Right off with the (much) better cover, this ish was (somewhat) better than last issue... FLASH #2 http://dcu.blog.dccomics.com/2010/05/10/kick-off-the-week-with-the-flash-2/ However, there may or may not be precident for Barry completely rebuilding a tenement before Countdown but his quick success at it here came across as (very) ludicrous. Yet, the skill at singling out a snowflake was (somewhat) interesting. And the replacing the brunetter for a blonde was (somewhat) funny. Seven pages to save/restore the tenants/damages, followed by two pages of talking about it, seemed a (ironically) slow paced. The future murder concept worked well enough - though Barry should have asked Commander Cold if he ever saw Tom Cruise in Minority Report. ![]() Liked the reborn Digger developments. A kill count of 2 already. He's still got a way to catch reborn Max. Last ish being 'pleasant but underwhelming' even in regards to the spporting cast was not a complaint in the strictest sense - just desire for more compelling interest to be generated from them. This time 'round Singh got a (fair) amount spice added. Though the epilogue also ran on a bit, the timely last page cliffhanger, also, worked well enough. The tempting cover for next issue http://www.dccomics.com/dcu/comics/?cm=14932 looks (very) promising!
