In JLA: Cry for Justice, Roy became the punching bag of the series. In three issues, he lost his arm, his daughter was killed, and he became homeless. His new cybernetic replacement arm is extremely painful, he's now impotent, and is back on the heroin. You'd think he stole James Robinson's car or something....
