Like father, like son?

The CW's upcoming superhero series “The Flash” has found it's role for John Wesley Shipp, who played the speedy, red-tighted hero in CBS's “The Flash” in the 1990s.

In a move that's perhaps not surprising, Shipp has been cast as Henry Allen, the father of Barry Allen, AKA the Flash, who's being played by “Glee” alum Grant Gustin.

thats cool,
I like that they are using Shipp,
however, I was so hoping he would be cast as Jay Garrick ( cuz that would make sense ) but I know, I know, I think Garrick doesnt exist in this "universe".
