Because Time Warner thinks DC's comicbook fans are idiots. They took Batman out of the hands of SMALLVILLE's show runners (and the show had to turn "Adam Knight" into a zombie instead of Bruce Wayne) because they thought we were too dumb to understand there can be two versions of the same character, one on TV, one in the movies. The only reason "Superman Returns" was even made while SMALLVILLE was on was because Time Warner had a legal obligation to make a movie or their fight with the S&S heirs would have gone badly for them. (Plus, technically Clark wasn't Superman on SMALLVILLE.) I'll be SURPRISED if they let the FLASH television show stay on the air as the movie approaches. And as for the movie being a success, with who? Look at Miller. Is THAT Barry Allen? Is he Wally West? Bart? (He sure ain't Jay. Not even the nuJay.) Something is SO wrong with this casting. WHAT are they thinking? | |||||||
