Still think that the Zoom flash is more than just Dr Wells alone though, and that somehow he needs barry ro be all that he can be in order to make sure the Flash averts the coming Crisis event!

How can Wells and Reverse-Flash occupy the same place and time? Why did he beat Wells as he did?

Having watched the episode three times now it is still hard to understand these points, that Wells is Reverse-Flash is hard to argue against... or is it? We only see him with the Flash ring and restoring the costume to its hiding place, along with now stolen Tachyon device. It is therefore possible that Reverse-Flash is someone else, someone Wells is using as his puppet.
I dont think that is the intention, but it is a possibility.

So how can Wells and Reverse-Flash be in the same place? Time-travel? Reverse-Flash knew about Barry's parents and his role in his mothers murder, so to him that is the past, he also teases at knowing Barry well and having fought him numerous times, so this is not Reverse-Flash as he first travels through time - he's already done it. Getting the Tachyon device for Wells seems to be indicating a much broader plan from Wells as in manipulating the Particle accelerator accident at STAR labs all those months ago he allowed Mercury Labs and Tine McGee to race ahead with their research and actually devlop the Tachyon technology far ahead of its original schedule - further evidence that Wells is manipulating history to his own ends. So if he has been waiting for Mercury Labs to create the device he is clearly intending to travel through time once more... but to where? And why..?
