Haven't stuck with this book so it was really surprising to see Boomerang as a deep down good samaritan who thinks of the children first. Also, weird seeing a Reverse-Flash trying to improve his imge and showing personal concern for an asociate. Deadshot was a unfortunately was uncharacteristically dull this time 'round which wasn't really any good to generate some anticipation hype for the movie.

Daniel West has been trying to redeem himself as I understand it, but no idea about Captain Boomerang - that doesn't sound like any Digger Harkness I have ever read!
I think he and Deadshot's treatment bring up a problem in the new DC as like Lobo they appear to have been very watered down from what they were before. Deadshot was always a cool villain, but Floyd Lawton became one of the most interesting and complex rogues in the DCU thanks to John Ostrander, as with the modern treatment of Deathstroke though current writers and editors just don't appreciate that what made these villains so popular was the complexity and shading given to them previously. I haven't cared at all about Deathstroke since Devin Grayson's Titans series, and the same goes for Deadshot.

Thinking on it Captain Boomerang has barely even appeared in The Flash so far... \(euh\)
