Quote:Barry still has his speed to an extent as they did comment that he was healing fast after he awoke.
Yes, that makes sense. He just can't run. Not yet, anyway.
Quote:his speed is dampened considerably due to being hit with the serum instead of ZOOM and from what may have been a partial drain by Zoom.
Indeed. But we know it's temporary.
Quote:However they did recharge Barry in Season 1, no reason that can't work again that I can recall.
But...they don't remember doing that.
Quote:But I suspect the speed suppression formula will be reversed and become the SPEED FORMULA. That will counter the serum already in Barry and jolt his powers, then later likely restore Jay's powers, and then later go to Jesse Quick.
Makes perfect sense to me. And Harry is the one to come up with it.
Quote:I suspect we are building to a Barry/Jay super speed team effort to fight Zoom.
You might be right. I can see that happening. Just so long as Barry gets in the last punch.
Quote:As to Wells being a jerk, can one be the CEO of a company and not be a jerk?
Absolutely. His name is Ray Palmer.
It's interesting that a hero/villain performs one amazing feat, or use a power they haven't used for 20+ years, and that automatically propels them to a high status despite scans and evidence to the contrary. I don't know what is worse, selective feat picking that has only been done once or twice 20, or more, years ago or ignoring evidence from scans or the lack thereof. We need to stop putting our favorite heroes/villains on pedestals and start putting them where they really belong. But it's evident that people never will because they would rather accuse others of cherry picking feats, when they don't, and being 'morally superior' when they aren't. I guess being honest and as fair as possible only opens one up to being the target of childish accusations and fault finding by those who insist on acting petty and childish. What happened to a good debate between two civil, mature, adults?
