How fast was The Flash?

In the Silver-Age one of Barry Allen's first major tests of his limits came below, in a typically imaginitive and charming Gardner Fox and Carmine Infantino adventure The Flash crashes through lightspeed and beyond and the aftermath imbues him with some unanticipated side effects to deal with.... Francis Manapul channelled the same creative thinking for his initial stories with the character in 2011. Perhaps he too was a fan of Silver-Age Flash? \(yes\)

For what it's worth, the TV show just said in one of the last episodes that he normally averages 1,500 miles per hour.
