Quote:2. Wally is white not black and he is not Iris's brother, he is her nephew.
Because Barry and Wally were not contemporaries in the comics, they were more like father and son. Actually uncle/nephew.
Quote:3. Jay Garrick exists in the same universe as Barry, but in this show he's from Earth-3.
In the original comics, Barry was from Earth-1 and Jay from Earth-2 so this is a nod to the comics. They just had to change Jay to Earth-3 because they had already used Earth-2 as a misdirection for the fake Jay/Zoom.
Quote:4. Caitlin Snow is Killer Frost not a genius scientist.
I didn't even know who Caitlin Snow was until this show. New creation I guess. Killer Frost was always Crystal Frost and/or Louise Lincoln.
Quote:5. Vibe is a lame third-rate Super-Hero who doesn't even work with the Flash not a genius scientist who actually does.
And he can't see the future or open portals to other dimensions, he can make things shake.
Quote:6. Dr. Wells? Completely new creation.
Quote:7. Zoom. Nothing at all like his comic counterpart. Plus, he's a Wally's villain not a Barry's villain.
The original Zoom, Eobard Thawne, is a Barry villian. He did later become a Wally villain because Wally inherited Barry's entire Rogue's Gallery. Hunter Zolomon was strictly a Wally villain.
Quote:I can list more examples, but that would go into minor details like hair color and such. Now, I might get flak from some people for this post but let me make myself clear on something. I am NOT complaining for the thousandth time about any of these! I am simply naming them as changes that the Showrunners have made, proving they play fast and loose with what is canon.
