Quote:Kind of frustrating that the super-villain in this episode was kind of a dud. I was excited for Barry to fight a real Monster like something out of the Marvel's Atlas days.
They pretty much did. I figured out the creature's 'secret' in the first 5 minutes and thought 'Oh, they're doing Fantastic Four #3'.
Quote:I really enjoy HR every scene he was in was hilarious.
Tom Cavanagh's performance(s) have been a highlight of all three series for me. As long as he sticks around, I'm not too bothered which incarnation they use.
Quote:I think he has a point that a science fiction writer might be useful, but I'm biased since I'm a sci-fi fan and sometimes writer.
Quote:I like what they did with Barry's lab partner in this episode. Good character development.
Not so much. I find it difficult to believe when a character who has such deeply held beliefs as Albert suddenly spins on a dime based on one single incident. I wish they'd given him at least a few episodes of inner conflict before mellowing him. But, I get the feeling they introduced him for a reason, either he's going to join team Flash, or they're going to give him a relapse and turn him into an evil meta.
Hey, if he's renounced his family and doesn't want to be found be them (and that last part is pure speculation, I know) perhaps even his name is a fabrication. Perhaps he IS, as others have speculated, Al Desmond.
Quote:Good plotline with Caitlin too. You thought Caitlin was a cold fish, she obviously gets it from her mom. Yikes!
Yep. Like where they're going with this.
I'm enjoying this series a lot more now that the time travel storyline is over. Hope it lasts.
