Kind of frustrating that the super-villain in this episode was kind of a dud. I was excited for Barry to fight a real Monster like something out of the Marvel's Atlas days.

I really enjoy HR every scene he was in was hilarious.

I agree. I really liked when he held the (drum?)stick like a baton. It seemed like he was going for a Steve Jobs reference. Remember Micheal Fassbender's Jobs telling Steve Wozniak that he conducted the orchestra?

I think he has a point that a science fiction writer might be useful, but I'm biased since I'm a sci-fi fan and sometimes writer.

It gives Tom Cavanagh a chance to play a more humorous character. It also gives Barry, Cisco, and Caitlin more of a chance to shine as scientists.

I like what they did with Barry's lab partner in this episode. Good character development.

Good plotline with Caitlin too. You thought Caitlin was a cold fish, she obviously gets it from her mom. Yikes!

    Other folks thoughts?

There was the Empire reference, but to tell you the truth, I thought that it might have been a reference to Captain America Civil War's Empire Strikes back reference.
