The problem now is that the Flash ring is a time anomaly.

It has been brought to the past from the future and now exists before Ryan Choi (The Atom) invents it.

Just like RF still exists despite the end of Season 1.....however given how his existence is so intertwined with Barry's, I think RF exists because Barry exists.

As to Nora, her continued presence in the present is an extreme danger to the future/history of her and well, everyone. RF changed things by killing Nora Allen then had to repair things by expediting Barry's origins as the Flash. Thus RF has both fulfilled and likely revised the future.

Now Nora Allen is here and she has already has slightly changed things by aiding with the satellite, and now may have really changed things just by meeting with and interacting with Team Flash, possibly similar to Marty and the Polaroid.

Also a BATMAN BEYOND easter egg: Nora when seeing Gridlock says "Schway" which was used in Batman Beyond, which basically means "cool"

The ripping of the Flash suits, nice plot move to introduce the Flash ring, and Barry's suiting up was just like in Season 1 when RF released his suit to fight Barry, GA, and Firestorm. Also the look on Cisco's face and the site of the ring and Barry's future/present/new suit was pure gold.

Time itself can not be a fixed as they are assuming, for even Dr Who shows to us that changing history either creates alternate timelines, or else simply cannot be done!

When they do something to create the alternate timeline, should not really be affecting them, but alternate themselves!
