Perhaps future iris has sent her back to save Barry?

The whole Iris/Nora thing was a little odd.

It seemed to me that there was more going on than just Nora wanting to get to know her father. She seemed totally disconnected from Iris. And then there's that scene in the coffee shop where Iris asks if they have dinner together regularly and Nora changes the subject.

I got the feeling that Iris isn't in Nora's life in the future either.

My guess is, either Iris 'dies' like she did in the comics, or Nora somehow gets exiled to the 31st century, or both. That would explain why she uses 31st century slang (Grife!), and how she can compare her father's symbol with Lightning Lad's.

Nah, I doubt the writers are thinking that far ahead.

I doubt the writers are thinking.
