Bro the show just doesn't work that way. The past gets changed on this show. It's an integral part of the show's mythology that time travelers do in fact overwrite the present. I don't know how to keep arguing because you are just simply in denial about a fundamental plot point on this show.

I'd agree wholeheartedly if they'd only ever shown one single timeline, but they've shown plenty. Earth-2, Earth-39, Earth-X: All divergent realities.

It's truer to say that divergent timelines are the norm on the show.

Except those aren’t divergent timelines. Those are alternate universes. That’s different. Those aren’t created as a result of time travel, that’s just due to quantum physics.
Everything's 'due' to quantum physics..
Divergent (Or alternate, or parallel or whatever you want to call them) realities wouldn't all be created by time travel. There's the theory that every time an event could have more than one outcome - say, you're deciding whether to have corn flakes OR bacon and eggs for breakfast - then both outcomes occur. Divergent/alternate/parallel universes are being created all the time naturally.
And it's a theory that's supported by the Crisis on Infinite Earths comics. Earths 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, C, S, X and every other one had a shared history. ONE universe/reality, that diverged into many at the dawn of time.
