Then every detective should quit. Because all they have to go on is evidence, not proof. Then they extrapolate forward from the evidence. But by your reasoning, al the detective does is 'guesswork'.

But you are not doing what detectives do. You are not extrapolating forward from the evidence, because there isn’t any. You only make baseless claims that cannot be proven, and unjustly claim them as authoritative. You have nothing to base your claims on, and that is what makes it guesswork.

That is not possible until time travel becomes a reality.

Lol! No. I'm criticising the writers' handling of one topic based on their poor handling of other topics. If they get one thing wrong, fair enough. But when they get many things wrong, it's safe to assume there's probably other instances of poor writing.

You have just committed an Ad hominem fallacy. Statements are not proven wrong because of the person who makes them. The writers’ verified scientific mistakes do not make anything else they write automatically wrong.

How do you think respected physicists can stand on stages and give presentations like the one - and there are many more - that I linked to if there's no mathematical evidence pointing in that direction? How do you think they can come up with possible ways of travelling into the past if there was no mathematical evidence indicating that it could possibly be done? They'd be instant laughing stocks.

But they're not. Why? Because they understand the physics, and they've done the maths. They understand that the evidence points to it being at least theoretically possible.

That is not possible until time travel becomes a reality.

Your loss.

I never said it makes ANYTHING else they write automatically wrong. I said it would be safe to assume there are other INSTANCES where they get things wrong.

Do you understand the difference?
