Except for Eveyln ( I hope ) I thought maybe an out for Malcolm would be Thawn plucking him from the timeline at this point but somebody told me they showed him taken from another point. Also if Chase was truly evil he would have shot William then himself.

Well we don't know what Chase told William, for all we know he tried to brain twist him to against Oliver.

Or perhaps William has a slow poison in him that will kill him without the antidote that only Chase knew where it was.

Evelyn as I recall was left in the cage so unless she broke out she's dead.

Malcolm was plucked from earlier in his timeline and returned to the same spot and memory wiped of his time with RF.

As to Chase killing William, I suspect that there are some limits to what a villain can do on a network TV show.
