They're supposed to be the same person from different realities, so they should have the same fingerprints. Usually in these sorts of stories they are identical (fingerprints, retinal scans, etc.) and the only way to tell them apart is to see their "vibrational signature". (Justice League Gods Among Us for example)

Yeah but I've always been annoyed at plot points like this. Clones and alternate timeline doppelgangers shouldn't have the same finger prints. We just accept it but it's wrong because we know identical twins don't have the same prints.

We know the events of Earth-1 and Earth X diverged long before the Olivers were born. We know finger prints are formed in the womb. Factors that can shape our finger printers are genetic factors, location in the womb, amniotic levels etc. Odds are Moira and Nazi Earth Moira did not experience the exact same conditions in their pregnancies.

And I think it was established in Flash season 2 that individuals on Earth-2 have reversed finger prints than those of people on earth-1. So even in story there's precedent for alternate earth doppelgangers having different finger prints.

I'd like some clarification on the plot point. Like I said I thought it was implied people from Earth-2 DO NOT have the same fingerprints. They have the reverse. So it stands to reason Earth X people might have different prints as well.
