The show has really lost it's way this season. Who am I supposed to be rooting for?

I really can't blame the newbies for leaving, they all got treated like s#it because they were the new guys.

That said, I wouldn't trust Wilddog as far as I could throw him. I don't feel that his betrayal was okay because he did it for his daughter.

I feel like he should make some sort of peace with Wild Dog but not let him back in the group. Wild Dog can chip in on emergencies but Oliver can't ever trust him again.

I'm all for someone picking their kid over their friends. But Wild Dog's action nearly separated Oliver from his own kid. You don't get over that.

But the heroes are far outgunned by the villains this year. I mean Caden James has a army of baddies and Oliver was going to go against them solo? It just doesn't seem at all realistic.

Oliver and the team should just give up and let Argus and the police handle it. It seems like ridiculous hubris for them to continue.

I mean Oliver is still under investigation. He has no business going out as the Green Arrow. Not to mention he promised his son.

It never bothered me when Oliver was leading a double life and lying to his mom and Thea. But for some reason it really bothers me that he is lying to his son. I guess the difference is that Thea and his mom didn't know the truth, while his son does.

It hasn't bothered me yet. William's a kid. Oliver lying to Thea (and Tommy and Laurel) always bugged the heck out of me. I don't like heroes keeping secret identities from their close friends or relatives. I feel like if you're really a friend (or brother or lover) then eventually you have to tell the people you care about or you're just lying to them over and over again. And it's not like their lives aren't always in danger anyways...how many times does a hero have to save a friend, relative or lover that doesn't know their secret...all the tie. Like personally I would hate to be Peter Parker's friend. He lies about everything to his friends and he can't keep plans. None of his non hero friends really know him IMO. But they usually end up murdered all the same.

But keeping William in the dark I get. That poor kid needs a shrink after all he's been through. And I get not telling Moira...parents shouldn't know everything. But a real friend should be told the truth eventually.
