This issue is a week late. Nevertheless, I hope to get the board activity up a little by giving my thoughts on the issue and hearing yours.

THE TWILIGHT OF THE GUARDIANS BEGINS HERE! Sorry for *Ahems* yelling. I just hope this will end up being a good storyline.

    1. Ganthet and Sayd discuss lowering the age requirement of the recruitment of Green Lanterns even as they watch a child with a ring fly around until she throws up. With Sayd rubbing the bridge of her nose even as the child Lantern throws up, commenting that her vomit made globs. *LOL* Funny moment. Also, there was an implied suggestion that Ganthet and Sayd have a child of their own. An interesting notion to think about. I don't agree with recruiting "children" as Green Lanterns, but it might be interesting to see.

    2. Ganthet gives John some sage advice about the ramifications of always being reactive to incoming threats. Pondering if there was a way to stop them all before they even came about. Ganthet warns that this pondering is the path to madness and is what drove his brother Guardians into the path of evil as they became the very thing they hated. I thought that was very telling and it's a nice explanation as to why the Guardians turned into evil blue midgets who would kick out Hal Jordan for saving their lives and giving Sinestro a GL ring, knowing full well the evil he is responsible for.

    3. Interesting that in the Dark Metal Storyline, the Alley Rat's costume is the version before he became a White Lantern and now it's back to that very dated 90's look in this issue. Talk about miscommunication.

    4. Hal and the Alley Rat are taking care of a lava flow when they learn of the attack on Ganthet and Sayd by the controllers and we see a lot more captured Guardians on the last page.

All in all, I liked the issue. What are your thoughts? \:\)

Feat of the Week: Hal tells the Alley Rat about the time he moved a moon. It's not seen, but I don't think it needs to be. It's an impressive feat. \^_\^

I am sadly like 10 issues behind cant wait till I can read them all at once In a nice long sit down.
