1)So we have a major revelation - the Ultraviolet light - happening in Justice League, not even in a Green Lantern book. Not sure that I like that, something that big should be in a Green Lantern book.
2)Green Lanterns 50 has a note that this story happens after Hal Jordan/Greeen Lantern Corps 50. But Hal Jordan just had 47 come out, so we still have three more issues until then. That makes that story a little anti-climactic since we see all the main characters (other than Hal, but they just say they can't reach him).
They probably are in a weird spot with Venditti ending his run and Jurgens starting his, but couldn't they time it a little different so that we don't have one story starting after a story that still has 3 issues left to tell?
And where is the Ultraviolet story in Justice League placed in time compared to the two Green Lantern stories? Is this even later, as the "Leader" of the Green Lanterns shouldn't have time to run around with the Justice League, so if John is there he shouldn't be "leader" any more. Didn't read Justice League 1 or 2 so I don't know if that was addressed there ore not.
There is a lot going on here with most likely a reboot of the Green Lantern books coming up too, it doesn't seem very well planned out at all.
Contrary to what I was first thinking in my previous message, the "Ultraviolet" light isn't a new concept added to the classic Emotional Spectrum.
This new light, powered by shame, would come from the Dark Multiverse.
Just like the Evil Batmen or the Still Force, it is a distorted, twisted, disfunctional concept coming from another multiverse.
