Just a note - Donna Troy was a member of the Darkstars and not the Blackstars. The Darkstars were a major part of the last series (Hal Jordan and GL Corps) but this seems to be a new (but obviously connected) group.

Oh right, "Blackstars not Darkstars". My bad!
The 90s were so long ago.
Thanks for the correction! In that case:
Added question 4: Who are the Blackstars?
Added question 5: What the heck ever happened to the Darkstars?

I don't know Stars, Dark or Black.

I also don't know Anti-Matter Lanterns or Heart of a Weaponeer. The Anti-Matter Lantern looked a LOT like Hal, so I guess some internet prying is due. Is it Hal who is destined to betray them?

I jumped on board here because I always WANTED to get into GL but the book seemed so mired in history and obscure characters. So I read this, which was very entertaining, mired in in history and a myriad of possibly obscure possibly new characters. But the visuals are so compelling, like reading a 60's science fiction space comic. As noted, Hal's total lack of direction as a man contrasted with his absolute confidence as a Lantern is perfectly illustrated.

I didn't understand a lot of it, but I certainlyu liked it!
