I'm glad to know that "Black Panther" is generating so much excitement in the black community. Hopefully its expected success leads to other well-crafted black superhero movies.

I know I'll be taking my two kids this week. They love the Marvel movies.
Jungle Action #23 was one of those very first comics for me. In late 1976 I would've been 6 or 7 and this issue was one of the first 20 comics I ever owned. Needless to say, I read it until it nearly fell apart. I've always loved Black Panther with that nostalgia that can only come from the comics that left such an impression at such a young age. When I got older I got the Panther's Rage issues. One of the best stories of the 70's, easily.
