I've watched Antropoid a couple of times in the last year, and recommended it to three friends. It is a very gripping movie, especially so if you don't know anything about the operation or it's outcome (which was my case).

I spent the whole movie asking questions, "Who are these guys?" "What side are they on?" "How will they carry this out?" "Will they be able to carry it out?" "Will they get away with it?"

It's been criticized as 'slow' but that's the way life unfolds sometimes. I'd say it is more of a slow burn, than slow. I highly recommend it for those on the board who haven't seen it - not to be viewed with young ones in the room, and definitely not a "feel good" movie.

oh, its a great version. and darn accurate. I watched a dubbed version in czech on youtube. normally i dislike dubbed films but with this one it feels more appropriate. it was funny hearing czech actresses dubbing themselves. (they did the lines in English originally.)

I kind of wish i could be in your position of not knowing the story before i saw it.
