I've got a plot from a comicbook story I read years ago stuck in my head and I cannot remember which comic it was. It's one of those things that just won't go away until I remember it.
I've got little to go on but I thought maybe somebody here could remember.
Its a marvel book from the silver or bronze age. Don't remember the hero or villain. The plot is simple, it has the villains kidnapp a child actress (or heiress) and try to hold her for ransom before the hero invades the lair and saves the day. The kid was in the 9-12 year old age and the villain mifgt have been a supervillain or it could have been a gang, can't recall.
I know its not much to go on and sounds like a really standard plot but its one of those that is stuck in my head, like a song, and the more I think about it, the more it hurts.
Any help would be appreciated. cheers.

That's a tough one, as you say, since it's a standard plot. Plus, most comics I remember vividly from childhood are the ones with supervillains. The plot reminds me of ASM 187, in which Electro kidnaps a child, or Marvel Team-Up 88, in which the Hole In The Wall gang kidnaps Franklin Richards, but I'd guess those aren't the one you're thinking of, given the memorable heroes involved.
