Previous Post That's a tough one, as you say, since it's a standard plot. Plus, most comics I remember vividly from childhood are the ones with supervillains. The plot reminds me of ASM 187, in which Electro kidnaps a child, or Marvel Team-Up 88, in which the Hole In The Wall gang kidnaps Franklin Richards, but I'd guess those aren't the one you're thinking of, given the memorable heroes involved.

ASM 187 was one of my first comics so it holds lots of nostalgia.

It reminds me of the time I took months to track down a song going on nothing but the first few notes. It was an old trumpet riff that they used to play in the cafes of Prague that haunted my soul.
