I remember watching the show and Pamela Sue Martin was a babe. But, I don't recall this two-parter at all! I am almost positive that I watched it, but it sure didn't stick.
I loved The Hardy Boys books when I was a kid. They were probably my gateway drug to Doc Savage and the pulps. A neighbor was giving away a bunch of books one time and offered them to me. Instead of being The Hardy Boys, they were all Nancy Drews! I took them though not as happy as I was momentarily before. As I read everything, I did get around to reading them. Found them to be just as good as The Hardy Boys, even if they were about a girl.

Absolutely agree about Pamela Sue Martin. And it wasn’t just her looks. The way she played the character made her extremely attractive.
I know what you mean about your disappointment but I’m glad to hear you still enjoyed the Nancy Drews. Back then, I would only buy a Spider-Woman comic if I was getting 5-10 other comics. I didn’t want to be seen buying just a girl comic. Lol.
I tried to get my kids interested in the Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew, because I wanted to read it with them but they never did.
