80 years old.
Guess that shows how old we're getting as I've always thought of him as the younger generation that took over after Stan Lee.
His biggest impact on comics for me will always be the Vision. I had the Marvel Super Action reprint of Avengers 57 since childhood. I love that ish.
I also really liked Avengers Annual 23 and Thor Annual 19, a Thomas 2-parter featuring Thor, Loki and Pluto.
What are your Roy Thomas classics or forgotten favorites?

I did see some old 70s or 80s interview with Stan and Roy, and Stan was talking about how Roy was the young blood.
He had a cameo in Netflix's Daredevil, nice to see they are branching out the Stan Lee cameo tradition to other creators. Jim Starlin was in Avengers Endgame, as well. We got Mr. Ditkovich in Raimi's Spider-Man, too bad we didn't get a Ditko cameo.
I missed Roy's Marvel years, I know it's heresy. He had a big run on Conan and was basically credited with creating Red Sonja, right?
I'm more familiar with his All-Star Squadron/Infinity Inc stuff. Sometimes it seemed he was more interested in keeping all the Earth-2 continuity indexed and updated than just telling a story. But I enjoyed it.
