Not to mention the fact that in the interviews they've been pretty much flaunting the idea. Considering how it'd give the Hulk just the right emotional drive to get involved next year's event (and Bendis did call the Hulk the biggest bomb Earth could drop on the skrulls), I'd be surprised if they didn't go that route...
