I saw most of Thor(I missed the first 20 minutes or so.), and I was very surprised to see some of the characters from the Planet Hulk storyline. The Hulk versus Thor gladiatorial/ combat fight also seemed like it was out of Planet Hulk as well (When Hulk fought the Silver Surfer.). I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that they were using Planet Hulk. I guess that the storyline must be a classic then. One thing that I'm unclear about is how they captured the Hulk, or how they got a hold of him. Also, how could the Valkeyrie NOT know that Bruce was the Hulk? It kind of makes me want to see a reboot of The Hulk movie franchise.

No offense, but have you paid much attention to the lead in to the movie and how it was flat out stated to take elements from Ragnarok stories and Planet Hulk?
It is at best, for a Hulk fan, bitter sweat. As this is a PH sort of story that focuses on Thor.
I do recommend checking out the movie again. A ton happens in the first 20 minutes to establish the rest of the movie. In fact, the first 20 minutes moves and gives information at a very brisk pace. And that may be an understatement.
