Totally understand your points above, but Alonso's piss poor management of Marvel characters goes back to before the Disney purchase. Admittedly, nothing is as bad as what has happened to the line over the past couple years of blatant and terrible character replacement directed by Disney's diversity push.

Disney has little to do with publishing decisions, outside the Lucasfilm Star Wars titles overseen by Lucasfilm Story Group.
All these bad decisions fall to the feet of Perlmutter and Loeb, who after getting pushed out of marvel Studios, ended up steering all Disney run flagship characters into the rocks. It's not a coincidence they were tone deaf to the core readers bailing, it's what they wanted.
You want to blame some people, blame Alonso, Buckley, Loeb, and Perlmutter for making the most identifiable IP characters Marvel got, into unrecognizable hack jobs done by frat boys trying to appear PC.
