Going with the Black Bolt celestial killing example, i think this Thanos is tough enough to withstand the Hulk even if he was to explode in his face... And he doesnt look like he would be wary of him on his own, he did beat both Maestro and King Thor one on one on his own after all...

It mostly depends on the powersource Thanos is using, and if it is stealable somehow, then Maestro might have a chance at revenge. But i feel that its the current Thanos that is the real danger for the future one... Wonder who the Fallen one is though, maybe his brother with some cosmic power of his own? Or Warlock...

Actually, it was King Thanos' power that destroyed the Celestials, not Black Bolt's scream. He simply butchered BB and then focused his attention on them. And while he was able to best King Thor & Maestro individually in combat, it is possible he couldn't kill Hulk/Maestro due to him being immortal, and thus is using Hulk/Maestro as his personal bodyguard/herald/protector/WMD.

However, you do make a point about King Thanos and that his younger counterpart and the Maestro may seek to usurp him of his infinite power/might, if it can be taken or harnessed at all. It may be omniversal in scale/power.

And I'm betting that the Fallen One is either Silver Surfer or Adam Warlock, personally.

I don't know, from what i heard and saw, his killing Black Bolt unleashes the Celestial killing explosion, he was facing toward BB at the time and not the celestials, who were collateral. He took it point blank just fine. He outblasted King Thor and outpunched Maestro Hulk.

I think this Thanos keeps Hulk around not much for an inability to kill him (he kills abstracts in the very same page after all, unless the reveal that Death is missing once again means that nobody can die anymore), more for the same reason he kept BlackBolt around for his confrontation with the Celestials. He can use him against others.

As for the enemy, i heard that the pitch for this ongoing was basically the same as the Starlin trilogy that was in the works, and thats one of the reasons why he in the end left. If this is true, then it could feasibly be Eros, albeit a possibly corrupted future version of him with some equally large power up.
