I love the movie, but Marvel Studios made the mistake of playing it too safe. They should have made the "Marvel" Universe a technologically advanced universe from the beginning. The other mistake was that they should have completely distanced themselves from Ang Lee's Hulk; a movie which I love as well; instead of being vague. They should have also stayed away from any elements of the television show. I'm still not sure of the fascination of the Studio with a less verbal Hulk, but his personality should have been based around one of the fan favorite runs.




I think some of that has to do with it being so early on. They were trying to figure out directions and this movie sort of did not go that way in general.

Not saying you are wrong, just saying that there were many issues with this movie that in and of themselves may not have killed the movie but together dragged it down.

It would be interesting to see the movie in the hands of another director. Like Gunn etc. although one would have to accept a more comedic direction.
