Ewing's already said he wants to be left alone (ahh the irony!) so no crossovers/Planet Hulk/Skaar/etc stuff.
Interesting that he's thinking long term.. going back to Langkowski and the seeing ghosts thing. Specifically, the resurrection stuff being tied to the seeing ghosts ability.
Also worth noting, that he seems aware of all the other times the Hulk has died. Like PAD he's building on what came before to make something new and explain things.
Ironically it sounds like the start of the Bruce Jones run which had cross appeal with fans. Which is funny as it was Axel's idea to go the TV show route. I think it'll be a lot different this time as Ewing is a fan with lots of Hulk knowledge and editorial shouldn't interfere like before.
Anyways, it seems we're getting a return of the two personalities interacting and working together. Talking via mirror, etc. All of which culminated in a merging of personalities eventually. And given his reference of PAD it may be in the back of his mind long term.
Similarly, I hope he doesn't do what PAD did and have Betty track him down again. I'd rather see Kate Waynesboro return if a love interest has to be reintroduced.
Also, I hope the Banner we end up with is like Hickman's version/MCU/later Ultimates where a calm, in control Banner speaks with authority and barely controlled righteous anger.
As far as villains, hopefully it won't be all regular people. With Sasquatch, hopefully we get another horror take on Wendigo. I'd like to see the Glob, Leader, Klaatu, Galaxy Master, etc.
A sci-fi horror take on the title, like X-Files/Fringe rather than a comic book take. Darker tales like the Demon N'Garai.. a return of a vengeful Puffball Collective.
Anyone want to speculate on why Banner dies only to revive at night?
I'm sure the are hints about the inspiration he's taking for this direction:
