Namor has been a bit....unstable in recent times. However Namor was the one that dissented to the plan to banish Hulk to another planet which resulted in Planet Hulk and World War Hulk

Samson: wasn't he revealed to be part of the Intelligencia or something like that and that he has a repressed dark side, or is my memory misfiring?

Dr Strange: far as I can tell he has always been there for the Hulk and did what he could for him, even when Hulk went from Banner-Hulk to brainless Hulk in issue 300. Strange scanned many many dimensions to find a safe home for this Hulk and ultimately chose the only humane thing, send him to the Crossroads so that Hulk can find his new home himself upon which the spell would place him there or else return him to the crossroads to try again. The exception to the above is that Strange did vote in favor of banishment via rocket to a new world, that gave us Planet Hulk and World War Hulk

Yeah, and Namor has a better idea of what it means to be an outcast among the heroes. He wouldn't dissuade Banner/Hulk from "making them pay", but he would offer council.

I think you're right about Samson. He seems to be hanging around out of guilt and curiosity more than anything else. Notice how quickly his attention remained on Banner and Hulk when Betty was the one who called him?

That's true about Strange. Banner and Hulk still trust him as we saw in Defenders: The Last Defense.
