I'm uneven on Leonardi. Sometimes I love it, sometimes I hate. I will agree that his name doesn't come up enough in conversations. He's been there and done some important stuff.

Silvestre Szilagyi is the artist currently doing the interiors on Phantom. I managed to locate some samples at the link below. Also a few pages I've added to this post. His stuff is lovely I think, and I like his sleek Phantom.

I'm loving his work on the Phantom. It's great to see the series settle into a consistant GOOD quality. I like how he is able to draw the Phantom as being superheroic, but not ridiculously muscled. Hope he sticks with the title past the current story arc.

The covers by some of the more mainstream artists have been wonderful too. Leonardi is hit and miss at times for me. This one was one of the hits.
