| > Any fans of AC Comics or its flagship title, FEMFORCE? I'm not up to date on this imprint, but won a bunch of comics cheap on eBay, enjoyed them, and am now buying and reading the earlier stuff (1982 and onward.) I am really impressed with the artwork and fun factor.|
I was a huge fan for many years. I have great memories of picking up some of AC's earliest direct sales items back in the 80's, but I moved away from that market after a time. Back in the 90's I was looking for something to read that was fun and I found Femforce. Dick Ayers was the artist and that got me in, despite some qualms about the "good girl" art which verged on soft-porn in places. I fell in love with the enthusiasm the book had, the continuity and I spent many years and many dollars filling in my AC collection. Sadly the company has all but disappeared, putting out reprints and Femforce and what amount to fetish books. The comic became more and more about the giant hooters the girls have and less about the story which makes them vibrant and interesting. I picked up one a few months ago to see how it was going, and it was better. So maybe I'll check it out again.
