I have no hope for the Phantom at Dynamite. Other than Savage Tales #1 they haven't released any comic that has impressed me in the slightest.

“Our take is going to be an interesting one

Yes. I understand. That's what every publisher says when they acquire a licensed property.

we are going to reboot it in such away where we will explain his costume

May I ask why? Do we really need for his costume to be explained?

(costume) – which will be tweaked – differently.

Again, WHY?

I think, in broad strokes, how we see the character can be described in three sentences:
“He will start in the jungle.
“He will be ‘born’ in the jungle.
“He will come to the concrete jungle of New York City.”

This poster as Newsarama said it best:
So you take him out of the environment that makes Phantom unique, because there are only so many stories you can tell about the jungle, and then you plug him into the city -- like nearly every other comic book character in existence? That helps?

This is what I expect it to look like most likely. (See the cover below.)

This isn't a wretched version by any means, but it's not ground-breaking either.

And the costume has been explained a few times. Moonstone even did it. It's based on tatoos.
