I totally agree :

Wesley Snipes'Blade was great and, unfortunately, Ryan Reynolds'King was totally lame.

It is due to Wesley Snipes'Blade actually being a composite character : he is based on both the comics versions of Blade & King.

That's why he is a Dhampyr and the 'Daywalker' in the movie.
On the contrary, Hannibal King became a funny sidekick, far from the comics version. He wasn't anymore a vampire.

I think that Hannibal King has untapped potential and could be a great recurring character.
