I am just getting started on this series, but so far, it is quite excellent. It has all the elements of a mature comic. Violance, sex, etc. To be honest, I wish more mainstream comics were this gritty.

The art is good, but there is a slight similarity to the Byrne style. Still, the artist does a good job evoking the classic comic feel and some Kirby elements.

The writing is engaging and fast paced. So far, a nice change from the usual Marvel/DC fare.

Thanks again for the recommendation Grimm!

Its gritty/realistic, yet, still has that superhero feel; which I think Marvel fails at more often than not.
Which TPB did you start with, Count? IIRC, Savage Dragon's first series was limited with 3 issues, but then went monthly shortly thereafter with a new number 1. Just curious where you are jumping onto the book.
