Savage Dragon 206
Never read it. And the cover 'design' is okay *cringes* - freakydrawn legs though. But just got to give props for the wonderfully clever cover blurb: GRADUATING CLASH! How has this never been used before - and Dragon Jr. is in school;, right? Thumb so high up, might even have to at least check out the preview now...
Has anyone read this week's book? What teasers can you add? Any good?

I miss Dad and Dan.

This is a book that is usually a fun read with a very traditional classic superhero ethos to it, but since Dragon jr became its focal point it has really suffered, he just isn't a strong enough character to hold center-stage as he is here.
Erik Larsen has been using junior in steering the book towards focusing on contemporary teen culture and their issues, and in a sense it is commendable that he tries to keep the Savage Dragon book fresh with these shifts in tone and direction, but the reality is the end result has not been all that gripping.

Savage Dragon needs to get back to basics and be about its actual star and his his role as family man and protector of the city he lives in... \(coffee\)
