Finally read it...

ROM 000 FCBD 2016

It was an enjoyable read!

This was basically a rehash of the premiere Marvel introduction issue. Not sure why, but that didn't bother me at all this time. Maybe 'cuz ROM is among my favorite heroes and it's such a relief to see him back in the LCS! Wonder if Camilla will be the new Brandy?

It was curios to see him labelled ROM, the Wraithslayer on the Recap Page instead of Spaceknight. And yet Space Knight appears throughout. Maybe IDW specifically cannot use it as 1 word: Spaceknight and it's not as marketable as 2 words? The Energy Analyzer visual f/x is not as cool/clear as the original BUT the costume redesign smartly kept enough of his classic look to keep him endearing with this restart.

I enjoyed this comic. This particular Independent series is one I'll be posting about at another board: the 80s and 90s board. I decided to make it on topic over there because it represents such a triumph of the 80s and 90s in our modern era. But rest assured, I'm reading this, and I'm also reading MICRONAUTS. I may also read ACTION MAN - although I wish the original Action Man would have remained as the protagonist.
