    What an excellent issue!

I mean, for crying out loud, it starts out with the Herculoids! Need I say more?

By the way, did we ever (in the original cartoon) see Gleep (or, alternatively, Gloop) surround Dorno bodily to operate as a protective armor? I don't recall ever seeing that. But it makes sense.

Don't recall, but they would wrap around people to protect them. Actually, I don't think it makes much sense. It would be suffocating for poor Dorno, and protoplasms aren't made like that. Gloop/Gleep are not giant airbags; they're like giant water balloons. Here, Dorno, let's dunk you in a pond for a while. Oops...

Meanwhile, Space Ghost had an antimatter ray! Did he have one in the cartoon? I don't remember it, but really I couldn't begin to tell you the various rays he used to employ. And I'm glad they included the Galactic Trio.

Pretty sure all Space Ghost had were stun, heat, and freeze rays.

The issue ends with Doctor Zin deciding to send in his "loyal agent" from last issue, whom we learn is someone who is probably straight from the Johnny Quest cartoon - Jezebel Jade. It seems she and Race Bannon have some history together.

Yes, old femme fatale Jade. As good as the old Jonny Quest series was, she was the most interesting thing about it, to me. And we never got enough of her.

Yeah, this comic is unbelievably awesome.
