Five excellent cover options! How do you pick just one?

    Elvira: Shape of Elvira #1
By: David Avallone, Fran Strukan, Francesco Francavilla
    Type: Comics
    Genres: Horror
    Series: Elvira Mistress of Dark
    Publisher: Dynamite Entertainment
    Pub. Date: January 30, 2019

The Mistress of the Dark lands the leading role in a touching art film about human/gill monster romance, but there's something decidedly fishy about her costar. Is there an Oscar(TM) in her future, or is director Billy Bullworth interesting in spawning something more than an Academy Award-winning movie? Dive into the first issue of this special four-part miniseries, by David Avallone (ELVIRA, BETTIE PAGE).

Interesting solicit pitch. Might be worth checking out if they can capture the spirit of Elvira that has shaped her popularity since... 1981! We shall see. The art will be a dealbreaker for me, too. It's released tomorrow but there's no preview pages yet - isn't that crazy?? Although, the preview images here has the art looking a bit too tumblry-corny:

What did you think of her movie back then?:

Who would be your artist of choice for comic story Elvira?
Which cover do you like best?

Help the Cancer Society and the Alzheimer Society.

Indeed. And I do support cloning Elvira/Cassandra Peterson. >:)

Frank Cho would be my Elvira artist. Or maybe Terry Dodson.

The movie was what it was. I don't see how one could expect it to be better.

City of Heroes is BACK!
