Quote:I really liked the interaction between Mary Jane and Lynch. See, this is why I like Mary Jane as the person running the company. For Stark, a villain like Lynch is a joke. Just some corporate coullion whose goals and power are much too small to be dramatic pitted against someone who saves human lives on a routine basis. But as a villain Mary Jane has to face while Stark is dealing with life-and-death stuff, Lynch is awesome! For Mary Jane, defeating Lynch is a herculean task.
Quote:The scene where Stark revives had an interesting "Saw" vibe, but I think the art should have been grittier. Maybe someone like Roberto de la Torre?
Did you just say you liked a story about corporate intrigue?
As long as it's a subplot handled by supporting characters, while Stark is saving lives or avenging them, I've always been fine with corporate intrigue. What I object to is making saving a corporation the heart and soul of the book. As the main story, that is mindnumbingly dull. As a subplot handled by Pepper or Mary-Jane, it works just fine.
