I have this one -silly beyond words, especially how Stark played the "arse" to "motivate" Johnny (way over the top assumption of Johnny being the irresponsible younger hero type).

I think I put a post on this awhile back here - the page with what happened to some of the Reincarnated Man's victims was pretty morbid for being a comic book from that time

Yep. Your thread had me check out eBay (links) and inspired this (belated) post.

    - most violence was usually "whitewashed" - no overt gore, blood, etc., just the occasional flying tooth perhaps, unless you were reading the vampirella/adult horror mags of the day - but here you had a victim being rolled under by a steam roller, another poor guy being buried under burning hot cement, and a girl electrocuted by a washing machine into a heap of ashes....sheesh!! And here I thought today's comics were overly visual in depicting more realistic levels of violence...

glad I didn't buy this one as a kid!

My first MTU was #47, iirc, still need this back issue for according to the ole checklist.

And for a villain with no super powers except for a pop-gun, he's able to kick Iron Man to the ground, leaving him a helpless target to shoot at until the Torch comes in and saves the day.

May, also, be topical to compare Johnny's take to the one this week in the MTiO reboot. Also, (mildly) curious how feasible it would be if some writer took the Spector/Khonshu dynamics and tweaked/retconned Infinitus' for a return.
